    How can I be sure it's fully compliant with my Salesforce org?

    Proposal & Quote is a fully native solution, i.e. written in Force.com and packaged as a managed package. It's therefore embedded seamlessly in any adequate Salesforce org. Yet, in some cases, deployment or operational issues may occur due to particular Salesforce org setups. These can usually be easily identified and remedied by BALINK Support

    Does Proposal & Quote updates the Salesforce opportunity automatically?

    Proposals are first managed in the solution independently from the source opportunity. Yet, the user can at any time copy a proposal to the opportunity. Once this is done, the opportunity numbers are driven by the copied proposal.

    Do I lose the Opportunity Line Items functionality by deploying Proposal & Quote?

    No, you simply get a more granular management ability concerning these line items. Once a proposal is copied to the opportunity, it first updates the line items which then replicates on the opportunity Amount using Salesforce standard infrastructure. As long as no proposal was copied to the opportunity the user can manually manage the opportunity line items.

    How can I deploy the solution into my org?

    Proposal & Quote can be deployed directly from the Appexchange, by clicking the Get It Now button there and following standard Salesforce deployment wizard for managed packages. After deployment is completed, follow the few instructions provided in the Proposal & Quote Installation & Customization Guide to make your org ready to work with the package.

    Is there a free trial?

    Yes, a 21 days free trial period is available for all deployments via the Appexchange.

    Can I customize the application?

    Certain fields in Proposal & Quote's grid can be customized by Salesforce users via the standard setup in Salesforce. Also, the Quote Template is fully customizable. Note the Proposal & Quote Settings utility provides many configuration schemes defining the way the application will be operated within the org.     Do I necessarily need Salesforce Enterprise Edition in order to run the solution?

    No. Proposal & Quote can be run even from Salesforce Professional Edition (Products module required), making it accessible to many Salesforce sites.

    What is the price of the tool?

    Proposal & Quote is leased at only $18 per user, per month. Moreover, volume discounts start as low as 6 users, and an unlimited users, site license is also available.

    Can I un-install the tool?

    Yes, you can easily un-install the package through the Salesforce setup menu.

Quote Templates An admin user area to design page layouts suitable for different types of clients or needs using a powerful rich editor allowing:

    Quote templates are stored in the system and are available for repeatable use: a great time saver for the Sales reps! Print Quote Sales reps generate Quote printouts in PDF in a button click. They can also update the Quote Template prior to submission to fit their exact needs and deal's structure Saving and Emailing the Quote In two clicks a Quote can be saved in Salesforce objects or Documents folders as well as being emailed to the client. The full proposal making is finalized!

    BALINK Proposal & Quote has an embedded approval module to allow team collaboration in proposal management as well as compliance to company's policy. Approval Process Trigger When a proposal that has certain policy exceptions is submitted, the approval cycle is activated as per the definitions provided in the Sales Policy module. While this is in process, the proposal cannot be amended, ensuring business integrity throughout the cycle. A pproval Escalation The proposal is escalated through the management hierarchy as per the definitions in the Sales Policy and based on the users roles affiliations in Salesforce. Important:  The Approval process capability is totally embedded in Proposal & Quote: therefore even Salesforce Professional Edition users that don't have the Approval Workflow module can use it!

    With Proposal & Quote Sales staff can create complex priced proposals out of Salesforce Opportunities with the highest accuracy and in the most diligent manner. Proposal Structure Proposals are structured around customizable sections, providing high flexibility to adapt to any sales scenario. Products Selection Linked to the popular Product Search & Selection tool, products are easily added into the proposal out of Salesforce Products Catalog. Proposal Configuration Using a spreadsheet-like grid, the proposal can be calibrated and re-adjusted on the page, supporting different discounting schemes as well as displaying impact on cost, net revenue and margins. Opportunity Update User marked proposals update the Opportunity Amount data and drive the Forecast reports in Salesforce. All proposals data are available for reporting in Salesforce. Proposal Validation Proposals are checked for compliance against the company's pre-defined Sales Policy and run through an Approval Process prior to finalization. Proposal Terms & Header Data All proposals are monitored through their selected Price Book as well as governing terms & conditions. Orgs with Multiple Currency feature are also supported.
